Point

The body is made with high-quality Himeji leather, tanned with a combination of tannin and chrome tanning methods. This creates a unique balance of texture and flexibility, which evolves beautifully with use.

The surface of the leather material may have blood streaks (vein marks) or wrinkles, but these are natural patterns that appear due to the nature of the material. Please understand this in advance.

Please note that natural marks such as blood vessels or wrinkles may appear on the leather surface, as they are part of the material's natural characteristics. We appreciate your understanding.

Classic Shoulder Bag – A Vintage Japanese Randoseru Reimagined for Everyday Use
The Classica Shoulder Bag is a compact leather shoulder bag inspired by vintage Japanese randoseru. Based on the distinctive boxy silhouette of traditional school bags from early Showa-era Japan, it has been reimagined in a smaller, lighter form for everyday use. It keeps the nostalgic character of a classic randoseru while fitting naturally into modern life.

Made in Japan with high-quality Himeji leather, this bag combines timeless design with practicality. The body is crafted from leather tanned using both tannin and chrome methods, giving it a balance of durability, flexibility, and natural texture. As you continue to use it, the leather develops a richer look and feel over time.  The shoulder strap is designed to complement the body, creating a simple and cohesive look.

Smaller than the backpack version in the Classica series, this shoulder bag is easy to carry for daily outings, travel, or casual use. It brings the character of a Japanese randoseru-inspired design into a compact format suited to modern daily use.

Exceptional Craftsmanship
Made in Japan by skilled artisans, the Classica Shoulder Bag reflects meticulous attention to detail. The leather, treated with both tannin and chrome tanning methods, offers durability, flexibility, and a texture that becomes richer over time.

Enjoy the texture of cowhide leather
The main body of the bag and the belt are made of Himeji leather. The bag is made from leather that combines tannin and chrome tanning methods, and the surface is coated with a topcoat before being glossy. While having high durability, you can also enjoy the leather's change over time, so you can fully appreciate the unique texture of leather bags. The belt, on the other hand, is made of tannin-tanned thick 4mm gneiss leather. You can see the difference from others not only in its durability as a belt, but also in its massive atmosphere and the presence of the leather itself.

Tanned with tannin
Tannin-tanning is a process in which the leather is dipped in a solution of tannin extracted from plants, etc., and finished without surface treatment. The color, texture and expression of the leather changes as it is tanned.

Chrome-tanning
The hides are dipped in a basic chromium sulfate solution and finished. It is highly durable, scratch-resistant, and has excellent elasticity and flexibility.

Nu-me leather
Tanned with tannin extracted from plants, this leather is extremely durable. The leather is very strong. The fibers are packed together, so it is hard at first, but after continued use, it loosens up and becomes soft.

Enjoy the time and effort

Leather bags become more lustrous and tasteful as they are used more and more, but regular care is also essential to keep them beautiful and useful for a long time. Just like human skin, it is necessary to keep the bag clean and moist.

However, "water" is strictly prohibited for genuine leather bags. Never wipe with water.

Steps for care
STEP1:Clean the surface with a brush or a soft, dry cloth.
STEP2:Polish with a special leather care cream.
STEP3:Dry in an airy, shady place to allow the cream to penetrate the surface.

Although it depends on the type of special leather care cream you use, these three basic steps are all you need to do. This seems somewhat doable. Don't you feel like you can do it?

Please pick one up and give it a try.

Even if you use it every day, you tend to miss the smallest details in your daily busyness. Therefore, taking the time to pick it up and look at the details is a blissful time when you can notice even the smallest changes.

There are many types of special creams and waterproof sprays for cleaning. Please test them on an inconspicuous area first to make sure they do not cause stains, etc., before using them on the entire surface.

Requests Regarding Product Condition

Because cowhide is a natural material, each leather has its own expression and individual differences may occur. Bloodstains (blood vessel marks), scars (scars from fights between cows), and uneven dyeing due to differences in fiber density inside the leather are proof of the natural material and are used as they are as the individual characteristics of the leather. We do not accept returns or exchanges for these reasons, as they are not product defects. Please understand in advance and enjoy the texture of natural leather.
